Why study 'The Promises of God'?
God is the God of promise. Faith involves trusting the promises of God. God makes a promise; faith believes it, hope anticipates it, patience quietly waits for it.
In this series we shall begin by considering the relationship of faith with promises. We shall review some of the promises of God in the Old Testament, and then look at the promises of God in the New Testament. Throughout we shall reflect on how these promises paly a part in guiding our thoughts and actions.
